Mushroom spore syringes contain a huge number of spores which float in a completely sterile solution. They are pretty easy to use and store, if you follow the requirements and get familiar with the peculiarities of these interesting subjects of scientific research.
First of all, you need to make sure that the environment is very clean and that everything you need is at hand, in order to make your research go smoothly and pleasantly. Pre-made spore syringes are usually ready to use. At any rate, you should take the spore syringes out of the fridge with at least 12 hours before you work with them.
Spore syringes contain spore solutions, and, of course, the syringes are equipped with sterile needles. A quality controlled spore syringe is typically sealed with a cap, which is also known as Luer lock. You need to take the spore syringe from the fridge with the cap still on. Next, you have to shake it a few times. After that, the spore syringe is finally ready to be used for microscopic research purposes.
The spores should be kept in the refrigerator at temperatures ranging from 2-8 degrees Celsius. After each use, you should put the Luer lock back on.
