True Albino Teachers are an uncommon and unusual variety, but they are also one of the most dazzling. True Albino Teachers are often confused with the mushroom spores called “White Teachers.” True Albino Teachers are fully albino, while White Teachers are leucistic and have relatively low pigment with nearly-white fruits. This strain boasts ghostly white caps and stems, as well as gills that can become a lovely light-blue and grey hue. These mushrooms really have a beautifully distinct look. True Albino Teachers are usually stout and flat at maturity, but they can also produce longer stems with smaller caps. True Albino Teacher is noted for having a faster, somewhat more physical psychedelic impact that can linger for several hours. True Albino Teachers (TATs) are an uncommon and distinct variety with a powerful punch. It’s even more spectacular when viewed via spores under a microscope. Although this strain is becoming less rare and more common among researchers, it is nevertheless fascinating to study and watch. This mushroom is also a great place to start if you’re a new researcher who is just starting to learn how to study mushroom spores via a microscope.
Hobbyist Jik Fibs spotted four albino fruits in a Golden Teacher grow and developed the True Albino Teacher variety from those four mushrooms. Fibs obtained clones and swabs from these albino samples and used them to continue cross-cultivating. Three generations of the True Albino Teacher were generated about a year later. The True Albino Teacher has spawned a slew of new isolates in recent years as well.
The True Albino Teacher isolate was created from the Golden Teacher strain, which has a complicated background. One of the most well-known psychedelic fungi in the world is this classic strain of magic mushrooms. Golden Teachers are supposed to have started in the 1980s in the Florida wilderness. They’re fungi belonging to the genus Psilocybe and the species Cubensis. Golden Teachers are distinguished by their golden-yellow crowns that are vividly colored around the margins and fade to dark orange in the middle. Their tall white-orange stems have orange and yellow spots strewn throughout them. Because of their graceful stems and large umbrella crowns, a competent mycologist or expert hobbyist researcher can differentiate Golden Teachers from other varieties of cubensis mushrooms. Golden Teachers also have a slower growth rate and take longer to fruit than other members of their species, but this permits them to produce more psilocybin than faster-growing strains.
