What Is a Mushroom Spore and Why Is It Important for Magic Mushroom Enthusiasts?

Known by their scientific name as Psilocybe Cubensis, magic mushrooms have been around for a long time. Their spores represent their mechanism of reproduction, and they are commonly used to grow up to 200 different species of psychedelic mushrooms worldwide.
Although there are so many different types of species, psychedelic mushrooms are difficult to pinpoint and identify. In a lot of cases, inexperienced users could end up picking the wrong mushrooms and becoming seriously sick or even dying as a result. That is why it is extremely important to become familiar with the types of Psilocybe Cubensis spores that are safe, despite producing psychedelic effects.
Another important thing to remember about these mushrooms is that their spores don’t actually contain psilocybin – the compound the magic mushrooms contain that produces a psychedelic or mystic effect – until they start to germinate. As such, these spores are not technically illegal in many areas right up until they germinate and begin using the compound in question.
This loophole makes mushroom spores very popular and sought after, and in many cases you can use them to grow large amounts of magic mushrooms without actually having to carry anything illegal with you across multiple states – as is the case with marijuana and other substances that may be illegal.
