B Squared Mushroom Spores

B Squared (B²) is a unique Psilocybe cubensis isolate derived from the El Choco mutation of B+. While it shed the dark chocolate pigmentation of its parent, B² retained El Choco’s hallmark dense and slow-growing characteristics. The result is a strain that produces strong, healthy fruits that are slower to mature than classic B+ but less challenging than Penis Envy types, making it a perfect choice for intermediate-level microscopists.

B² originated from a light-colored cap found in an El Choco grow, and this fruit was isolated and stabilized by Dave Wombat. The mushrooms feature lumpy golden caps with darker centers, thick stipes, and a very light spore print, leaving only a faint dusting of purple below the cap at maturity.

This strain is well-regarded for its sturdy, dense stipes, consistent fruiting, and unique morphology, offering both visual appeal under the microscope and an engaging learning experience for spore researchers.
