Nepal Mushroom Spores

Nepal Mushroom Spores are named after the region where they were first discovered—Chitwan, located in Nepal near the base of the Himalayas. This Psilocybe cubensis strain is prized for its consistent growth, beautiful morphology, and ease of study for both amateur and experienced microscopists.

Nepal mushrooms produce medium-sized fruits with caps ranging from 20–70 mm in diameter. The caps are golden brown and may lighten to a soft brown as they mature. Stems are long, typically 150–200 mm, and can enlarge at the base. When handled or damaged, the stems and caps bruise bluish-green, a hallmark of psilocybin-containing mushrooms. The spores themselves are dark purple to dark brown, making them excellent for microscopic research.

This strain thrives in subtropical climates and is commonly found in elephant or rhino dung in tall, shady grasslands. Nepal psilocybin spores colonize quickly and reliably, producing healthy medium-sized fruiting bodies that are visually striking under a microscope.
